I’m Wes, an American from Southern California β€” now a photographer based in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. Most days I’m here, camera in hand, exploring the coast or nearby backroads. When I get the chance, I head north or out of the country. Always looking for something real to shoot.

I shoot what’s in front of me β€” street scenes, daily life, the kind of stuff most people overlook. A vendor at work, an empty alley, a fisherman waiting it out. Simple moments, nothing staged. Just what’s there, when it’s there, no setups.

Before this, I shot concerts, edited video, and took portraits. Each job sharpened a skill. Moving to Vietnam forced me to slow down and focus on what’s happening around me β€” the way people live, the details most skip over.

Most days I’m on two wheels β€” sometimes with a motor, sometimes just my legs doing the work. It’s the best way I know to connect with where I am. The road keeps me thinking, and sometimes that thinking turns into photos and ideas.

This site is where I show the work β€” the shots, the stories, the things I’m still figuring out. If it clicks, follow along.
